I’m Nicolas Alvarez, a mortgage loan officer based in Miami, Florida, serving homebuyers, investors, and real estate professionals across South Florida. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Investments and Finance from Florida International University (Class of 2022), along with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management. That formal training in property valuation, market analysis, and deal structuring gives me a technical foundation that most loan officers simply don’t have.
Before transitioning to mortgage lending, I spent three years in consumer lending, working across loan origination, closing, and underwriting for personal and auto loan portfolios. I’ve reviewed files from the approval side, not just the application side. That means when I structure your mortgage scenario, I’m already thinking the way an underwriter thinks: what documentation is needed, where the potential conditions will come from, and how to get ahead of them before they slow your file down.
